Vegan bounties

Not only are Bounties non-plant-based but they are also unhealthy. Thankfully, we got you covered with a delicious recipe made of wholesome and delicious ingredients. With these bites, you will now have the perfect dessert (or snack) to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Ingredients (for 16 pieces)

  • 50 gr dates
  • 100 gr shredded coconut
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 50ml coconut milk
  • 50gr dark chocolate
  • Optional: 2 tbs cacao powder + 1 tbs shredded coconut

Procedure

  1. Soak the dates in lukewarm water for about half an hour to make them tender.
  2. Mix the dates, shredded coconut, vanilla, and coconut milk in a blender or food processor.
  3. Create 16 balls (or squares) and put them on a plate in the freezer for half an hour.
    Optional: before putting them in the freezer, you can roll them in cacao powder and/or shredded coconut.
  4. Melt the chocolate au bain-marie and cover the bounties with the melted chocolate.
  5. Finish with some more shredded coconut for decoration and freeze for another half an hour.
